A multidisciplinary network serving justice reform, governance and institutional development in Africa.
Beyond its permanent executive team, Justice Impact Africa – Center for Judicial Studies and Reforms in Africa (JIA-CERJA) draws on a multidisciplinary network of experts composed of high-level professionals, selected for the excellence of their expertise, their solid field experience and their commitment to strengthening the rule of law, institutional governance and sustainable development in Africa.
Network composition
This network brings together magistrates, lawyers, academics, senior justice and penitentiary administration professionals, former senior civil servants, human rights specialists, and experts in governance, programme management, monitoring and evaluation and applied research, from Africa and other regions of the world.
Mobilization and missions
According to partner and programme needs, JIA-CERJA builds multidisciplinary intervention teams by mobilizing the most relevant skills within this network. These experts are called upon to conduct technical assistance missions, institutional diagnostics, independent evaluations, strategic studies, research activities, training and any other specialized intervention within their field of expertise.
An intervention model
This structure allows JIA-CERJA to combine permanent governance with the capacity to rapidly mobilize high-level expertise, ensuring adapted, rigorous and innovative interventions in support of governments, international organizations, regional institutions, technical and financial partners, and civil society organizations.
